About this design:

"For this design I really channeled my love for the beautiful landscape and mountain views here in Utah. I feel so blessed to live in such a gorgeous state, and I wanted this pin to really FEEL as magical as Utah is. If you currently live or have ever lived amongst the mountains, you get it."


"‘Empress of Energy’ was also inspired by Das Energi, a local music festival in Salt Lake. The futuristic buildings and tear-drop rooftop peaks were influenced by the theme of the event and architecture of the Great Saltair, which is a historic and very special music venue here in Utah where Das Energi and other festivals/music events are held each year. (Shout-out to my fellow Utah ravers and friends in the local music community out here – you’re all incredible and I’m so happy we get to be together again at these events!! )

A continued theme you will see in my artwork is strong, dynamic female subjects. I am so driven and inspired by women, and my goal is to portray them in the empowering and uplifting light they deserve." - Abby Lou Art
